Moxie Fab World Challenge

"Let's Get Sassy - the Taintor-Tude Challenge"

My friend Summer (and "Words with Friends" arch rival) was the one who turned me on to the Moxie Fab World website. They run some pretty cool challenges but I've never participated in one. Until today.

I love Anne Taintor and I am all about sass (Summer/Marci, don't bother to comment on that last part.) I've really been into make vintage and retro-looking stuff lately, so I couldn't wait to work on this challenge. I might even make a couple more.

The flower is my favorite part. I used plain blue cs, a cut from Accent Essentials, stamped with a Tim Holtz stamp and Distress Ink, then a quilling tool to fold up and mangle the petals.

There are some fabulous, seriously sassy entries for this challenge on the Moxie website. Go check them out....you can't help but giggle.

This is kinda cool...

Some of you might remember a post from last fall about the rock-n-roll inspired wedding invitations I did for a couple named Ricci and Joel who found me via my esty store.

Here's the link to the previous blog post - with pictures of the invitation:

I just got an email from a wedding website called junebug weddings. They featured Ricci and Joel's wedding and posted some great pics (though my etsy store is mentioned, they didn't show any pics of the invite, which is a bummer, but still....how cool is that??)

Here's the link to the junebug weddings if you want to check it out. It looked like it was a really awesome wedding...

Hmmm...this probably means I should get some new stuff in my etsy store. It's currently very empty.... http://www.etsy.com/shop/TwoataTime

A Naughty Card (kind of)

Hubby's birthday was yesterday and I wanted to make him a card that was a little....different. So I cracked open my brand new Forever Young cartridge. I added an "It's Your Day" sentiment to the middle of the panties from the lingerie set. I cut one pair of drawers (ha!) and then 2 shadows. I glued the cuts together around the scallops, punched holes in them across the top and then scored right underneath so the top of the card flipped up. Some ribbon and stickles and I had a cute and (slightly naughty) birthday card for my well-deserving husband. Change the sentiment and you've got a great card for Valentine's Day too!
